Practice Details


When making an appointment with one of the doctors at Gold Coast Women's Health, please inform the receptionist if you believe you require a long consultation.  This will assist us in reducing waiting times for all patients as well as an unexpected higher consultation fee.  Please bring your Medicare card, Pension card, Health Care or DVA card when attending appointments.

Home Visits

Home visits are available to regular patients only.  Should you require a home visit, please phone and talk to our reception staff who will pass on your request to your doctor and make the appropriate arrangements at their discretion.

Billing Arrangements

Gold Coast Women's Health is a private practice.  Fees range from $75 to $145. The fee for a standard consultation is $75.  A long consultation is $110. Procedures and wound treatment will incur an extra cost.

Pension card holders and children under 16 years are bulk billed.

Full payment is required on the day of consultation. Cash, EFTPOS and credit card are accepted.


Full payment is required from all interstate and overseas visitors, on the day, for all consultations.


Gold Coast Women's Health provides comprehensive and continuous care in all aspects of medicine.  However, there are instances when a referral to a specialist doctor or consultant is required.  Your doctor will discuss this with you.  No referral will be issued without first consulting the doctor.

Patient Feedback

Should you be unhappy with any aspect of care you receive, please feel free to discuss this with the Practice Manager at Gold Coast Women's Health.  If you would prefer to put this in writing, your concerns will be responded to promptly. We take your compliments, concerns, suggestions and complaints seriously. However, if you wish to take the matter further and feel that you need to discuss the matter outside of the surgery, you can contact the Office of the Health Ombudsman. The Office of the Health Ombudsman (OHO) can be contacted via its website or by phoning 133 OHO (133 646).

Telephone Calls

Gold Coast Women's Health is accessible by telephone during business hours.  Urgent medical advice is available during this time. If the doctor is unavailable, reception staff will take your details and a doctor, nurse or receptionist will return your call at their earliest convenience.


Your medical record is a confidential document.  It is the policy of Gold Coast Women's Health to maintain security of personal health information at all times and to ensure that this information is only available to authorised members of staff.

Reminder System

Gold Coast Women's Health is committed to preventative care.  We may issue you with a reminder notice, or SMS, from time to time, offering you preventative health services appropriate to your care.  If you do not wish to be part of this system, please inform one of our receptionists.

Test Results

The administration staff does not have authority to release details of your medical results.  If you would like to receive your investigation results, an appointment should be made to discuss them with your doctor at Gold Coast Women's Health. 


Gold Coast Women's Health has strict infection control policies in place to avoid the risks of illness and disease transfer, including sterilisation of all medical instruments used.


Prescriptions and prescription renewals will not be issued without a consultation with a doctor.
