Gold Coast Women’s Health has been the base for family planning on the Gold Coast for over 40 years. Whether you’re seeking a female doctor to assist with concerns relating to your menstrual cycle, pregnancy and fertility, contraception, menopause, sexual health, breast care, pap smears, cervical screening, vaccinations, chronic disease or cosmetics, the professional and fully qualified team at Gold Coast Women’s Health can assist.

Our Team

At Gold Coast Women’s Health you will find friendly female doctors who have an interest in all areas of health that relate to women from the start of puberty and periods, through to menopause and beyond.

Practice Hours

Monday – Friday: 08.00 – 17.00

Closed Saturday, Sunday and all Public Holidays.

Appointments

Please contact us on (07) 5539 9344 to make an appointment. Online appointments can be made at any time. Most of our standard appointments last for 15 minutes, if you think you need more time with one of our doctors please advise reception staff of this. Where possible, we will always try to ensure that we can find a suitable appointment time with your preferred doctor. Please be aware that emergencies will be given priority, if this situation should occur when you are scheduled to attend the practice, our staff will ensure every effort is made to contact you.

Cancellations

Due to a high demand of appointments at Gold Coast Women’s Health, we do ask that if for any reason you are unable to attend your scheduled consultation that you notify us as soon as possible to allow others the opportunity for an appointment. We require a minimum of 2 hours notice if you are not able to attend your appointment otherwise did not attend fee of $50 is applied.

Repeat Prescriptions

You will need to see your General Practitioner in order to get a repeat prescription or referrals to specialists. This includes renewed referrals.

Your Rights

If you have a problem, we would like to hear about it. Please feel free to talk to your doctor or our practice nurse. You may prefer to write to us. We take our patients compliments, concerns, suggestions and complaints seriously. However, if you wish to take the matter further and feel that you need to discuss the matter outside of the surgery, please phone the Office of the Health Ombudsman on 133 464 or go to their website to find out more.
